Action, suspense and passion - what more could you want? : Never Cry Wolf

Wow. This book was amazing. Even without reading any of the other books in the Night Watch series, I loved this book. Cynthia Eden has a way with words that sucks you in until you've read the whole book without taking a break. Now I'm going to go and hunt down the other books in the series because I'm curious if they are as good as this one.

What I liked about it.

1. The plot was very fast-paced. There wasn't a dull moment in the book anywhere. Something was always happening.
2. The emotions of the characters reached out to me and I could feel their frustration, their anger, and or happiness depending on the moment of the book. None of the emotions displayed seemed off or forced in any way.
3. I wasn't left guessing what things looked like, smelled like, and or sounded like. Cynthia, the author, packed the book full of details but not in an info dump. She creatively added them in throughout the plot.
4. The secondary characters included in this story added to the story and didn't take anything away from it. If it wasn't for the secondary characters, I'm not so sure if the book would have been as good.
5. I liked the fact that Sarah King, the main female, was a charmer (low end of the supernatural world). Prior to reading Never Cry Wolf, I've never heard of a `charmer' before.
6. The `heat' in the book was HOT and stayed that way all the way through the book.

Now for some readers I realize they don't particularly care for books that have a lot of cussing in them. Never Cry Wolf does have a few curse words - not a lot but enough you do notice them. I wasn't bothered by them but I thought I should warn others.
